Yes, once you sucessfully open a ruya bank account, you will receive a virtual debit card. You can use the virtual debit card to make online purchases and add it to your e-wallet through Apple pay, Samsung Pay, Google Pay. You can also apply for a physical debit card through the app for ATM cash withdrawals and instore purchases!

You can choose from a range of accounts – Current, Savings, Kids’ Savings, or Investment Deposit – each designed with its own unique features.
There is no minimum salary required to open a Smart or Saving Account. However, a minimum salary of AED 3,000 is required to open a current account.
Log in to the ruya bank app, go to “Accounts”, choose your account, then select “IBAN Certificate”, and follow the instructions.

Cash deposits through CDMs are instant. Deposits via Lulu Exchange are credited the same day if made before 4:00 PM, and deposits via Al Ansari Exchange are credited the same day if made before 6:00 PM, or on the next working day if made later.
No minimum balance is required to open a Current or Savings account.
Under the Everyday Banking section, tap “View All” on the home page, select “Place Deposit,” choose your preferred type (Wakala Investment Deposit or Mudaraba Term Deposit), and follow the on-screen instructions.
You must have a balance of AED 3,000 in your current account to request a cheque book. From the home page, go to “View All” in the Everyday Banking menu, select “Manage Cheques,” choose “Cheque Books,” and tap “Request Cheque Book.” Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your request.
Cheque deposits made via CDMs, the mobile app, or at a branch are usually processed the same working day if received before 10:30 AM. Deposits after that time are processed the next working day. We recommend making deposits early to ensure timely credit.
Open the ruya app, tap ‘Cards’ on the homepage, select your virtual card, and tap ‘Activate’.
Log in to your ruya app, tap ‘Cards’, select your virtual card, then tap ‘Order Physical Card’ and follow the on-screen instructions. Please ensure to have a balance of AED 50 to proceed with physical card request.
Login to your ruya app, select “Cards”, click on “Report lost or stolen”, select the reason and follow the on-screen instructions and select “Replace card”.
Log in to the ruya app, tap “Cards” on the home page, select your card, go to “Manage Card,” and tap “Reset Card PIN.
Log in to your ruya app, tap ‘Cards’ on the homepage, select your card, choose ‘Add card to Samsung pay, Apple pay, or Google Pay, and follow the instructions.
Your first transaction must be made using chip and PIN by inserting your card in POS machine and entering your PIN. After that, you can use contactless payments with just a tap.
If your card is active but transactions are declined, check your daily and monthly limits by going to “Cards,” selecting your card, and clicking “Manage Cards.” Adjust the limits and try again. If the issue continues, please contact us at 8007892.
Yes, you may use your card internationally. However, please refer to the “Fees and Charges” section for any applicable fees.
